The hat turned out so well, I plan on making up another three or four. I had to fold the brim in half and stitch it together; otherwise it is longer than the body and crown.
This was supposed to be a shawl before I realized I needed to make it wider. And use a softer yarn. However, I could not bring myself to rip it out, hence how it became a sampler type piece. I know, I know, why not use it as a washcloth? Partly because it is wool and will felt, but mostly because I like it as a sampler.
