Ok, so this is no big for most of the country, continent, world. But here in the land where "hills" are called "mountains," this much snow is enough to cancel school and make all the grocery stores run out of milk and bread. Naturally, I took Mama Puppy and her foundling out to explore.

We were not outside more than a few moments. It is cold.
